Serve in the Community

We have a variety of ways that we are involved within our own community, as well as communities across the world. Review the programs below and let us know how you would like to be involved. We’d love to have you join us.

Haygood is a sponsoring congregation of the Intown Cares Food Pantry. Every Saturday, food is distributed to residents of the 30306 and 30307 ZIP codes who are in need. You are asked to bring in canned soup, Ramen noodles, juice and powdered drink mix packages, snacks and other nonperishable items. Drop off your contributions at your convenience — just look for the blue bins in the gym lobby. You can also volunteer to work at the food pantry any Saturday (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.).
